• Never before have I had the privilege of witnessing such a distinct and seperate culture in such close proximity.  If you are a guest - relax, sit still and look or walk slowly, lie back after lunch, be still. My wife and I along with our four children were cared for and played with and made to feel completely at ease - this is no small feat!  Mohammed and Youssef always appears so calm and relaxed, but I know how much work must have been going on back-stage.  Thank you for looking after us all so well.  Our children enjoyed paying with you children - so much freedom for them.  The food has been wonderful - thank you for the couscous lesson.  We will take away so many memories and a sore bum from the camel ride!  Long may the Fayou Family adventures continue.  Chris, Carrie, Jake, Adrien, Phoebe & Rufus.

• Our favourite things about our stay with the Fayou Family:  The food, learning things about the culture and language, the stubborn camel, the noisy donkey, the hungry cat, the flamingoes and sheep, berber jokes (very funny!), sunset over the dunes, ball games with the girls, getting wet at the well (Zahara is so strong!), berber whisky!, so many smiles, dinner under the stars.  We are sad to leave.  Katherine

• What an incredible experience to spend time with the Fayou Family.  Each member is a unique garden flower growing here in Ras el Erg.  Each meal a feast.  We will always remember this special time.  The Riojas Family.

• Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the most wonderful memories.  It has been an unforgettable time, one I will treasure forever.  Your kindness, hospitality, warmth and generosity have been limitless - I was taken in as one of the family from the moment I arrived.  Your children are fantastically polite, fun and full of love and happiness.  My trip into the desert with the nomads was awe inspiring - it is a magical place with breathtaking views around every corner.  Youssef, my guardian and guide through the desert, is a man full of charm and wonderful stories - he brought the place alive.  I came, I relaxed, I saw and I will go away a happier and more knowledgeable soul.  I have been lucky to share a moment of your time and a corner in the your world.  Christoper.
